After a very quiet start to the series against the Angels, the Astros bats have come alive in a BIG way. Since game 2 of the season, no team has scored more than Houston, who has put up 11, 9, 8 and 9 runs respectively in the past 4 games against LAA and BOS.
Yordan Alvarez and Christian Walker have led the way, with both guys absolutely mashing the baseball. On Monday, Yordan hit a ball into the 3rd deck, a section of seats that rarely sees any action. Walker, on the other hand, has no homers, but leads the league in doubles and has been clutch, recording multiple 2-out hits and RBI.
The Astros close out the series with BOS, as well as the 7 game homestand to start the season today with Mike Burrows facing off against Garrett Crochet, the reigning AL Cy Young runner-up.
